What Intercom Gets Right
The trust signals section is exceptional. Named enterprise clients, specific conversation volume stats, and a live demo widget above the fold. A trust score of 18 is earned, not inflated.
The headline, "The complete AI-first customer service platform," is specific about both category and differentiator. A visitor knows what this is and why it is different within one line.
Revenue Leak #1 — Mobile CTA Is Below the Fold
On a 375px viewport, the primary CTA button ("Get a demo") sits 680px from the top. 60% of their traffic never sees it without scrolling. Estimated impact: 15–20% of mobile sessions that should convert don't.
Revenue Leak #2 — Form Friction at the Conversion Point
The demo request form requires first name, last name, work email, phone number, company name, and company size. Six fields before a demo.
A phone number at this stage signals "you will be cold called" to buyers who haven't decided yet. Every field beyond three compounds abandonment.
Revenue Leak #3 — Urgency Score of 9/20
Nothing on the page creates time sensitivity. No trial deadline, no cohort availability, no "teams like yours typically onboard in 2 weeks." At Intercom's scale, a single urgency signal near the CTA would move completion rates measurably.
The One Fix With Highest Leverage
Reduce the demo form to three fields: email, company, and company size. Add a sticky mobile CTA bar at the bottom of the viewport. Estimated combined impact: a 25–35% increase in demo completions from the current baseline.
